Privacy policy
Your health is an intimate matter. We handle your information with the same care as in our sessions: only what is strictly necessary, with your consent, and never shared with US-based services. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, where it is stored and what your rights are.
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Chris Anna Michon (“Anna”), therapist practising under the ibasho brand. For any question about your data: anna@ibashotherapy.ch.
2. The data we collect
We keep collection to a strict minimum. In practice:
- Contact form: your name, email address and the message you write. You freely decide what to include.
- Booking (Cal): name, email, time zone and chosen slot, needed to organise the video consultation.
- Anonymous audience measurement (Plausible): aggregated, anonymous statistics (page views, device type, country), cookie-free and without identifying anyone — only if you have consented.
Please do not enter sensitive medical details in the contact form. Health information is discussed during the consultation, in a confidential and secure setting.
3. Health data: special care
Health data is sensitive data under the nLPD (Switzerland) and the GDPR (EU). The site itself deliberately collects no health data through its forms. The clinical details you share are exchanged during the consultation, covered by professional confidentiality, and do not pass through this site.
4. Why we use this data (purposes)
- Reply to your message and arrange a first conversation.
- Schedule and confirm your video consultations.
- Understand, anonymously, how the site is used in order to improve it.
5. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (contact form, audience measurement) and the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the service contract (organising appointments). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
6. Where is your data stored?
Our principle: no US-based service.
- The website is hosted with Infomaniak, in Switzerland.
- Emails from the form are sent via Infomaniak's mail server (Switzerland) and received in Anna's inbox.
- The booking calendar uses Cal on its European infrastructure (European Union). To be fully honest: Cal is a third-party service, its data is hosted in the EU and governed by the GDPR; no data is transferred outside the EU/Switzerland.
- Audience measurement (Plausible) is self-hosted, cookie-free and contains no identifying personal data.
7. How long do we keep your data?
Messages received via the form are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted, unless an ongoing follow-up justifies otherwise. Booking data is kept for as long as needed to deliver the service, then erased in line with applicable obligations. Audience statistics are anonymous and aggregated.
8. Sharing with third parties
We never sell or rent your data. It is shared only with the technical providers strictly required to run the site (Infomaniak hosting in Switzerland, Cal calendar in the EU), acting as processors and bound by confidentiality. No transfer to the United States.
9. Cookies and consent
This site is static and uses no advertising tracking cookies. Anonymous audience measurement and the booking calendar only load after your explicit consent via the consent banner. You can at any time .
10. Your rights
Under the nLPD and the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to anna@ibashotherapy.ch or via WhatsApp (+41 77 217 35 58). We will reply as soon as possible.
You may also contact the competent data protection authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, with no exposed database and hardened security headers. Emails are transmitted over an authenticated, encrypted connection. We apply the principle of minimisation: less data collected means less risk for you.
12. Changes
This policy may change if our tools evolve. The last-updated date below is authoritative.
